Task 2:
Begin to pray about the ideas you have listed. Through prayer, discussions, and the needs of the congregation, select the most important ideas necessary to complete the Ministry Purpose Statement. The number of ideas employed is not nearly as important as the quality of the ones you will ultimately use. Effectiveness is the key to success in ministry, not how much is done. This may be a difficult process, so remember to strive for unity of the Spirit in your Ministry team. You may not be able to make all of the decisions in one meeting. If not, set up another time and try again. Prayer will always be the key.
